Print Design : Shades of India

Printmaking is something I truly enjoy doing, and I adore experimenting with different methods. Mandeep, the CEO of Shades of India, entrusted me with the responsibility of crafting prints for their forthcoming collection. They provided insights into their vision for the desired print aesthetics. After conducting thorough research, I conceptualised and executed various design ideas.

Rangrez, the collection lead, emphasized that each element in the collection draws inspiration from 19th-century paintings and metalwork. They sought prints that epitomized rawness and natural texture, prompting me to hand-paint each one. This hands-on approach infused every stroke, hue, and detail with a personal touch, aligning closely with the creative process.

My inaugural collaboration with Shades of India yielded two bespoke prints, necessitating meticulous attention to detail and adherence to a stringent timeline they expressed sincere appreciation for the meticulous effort invested. I found gratification in the outcome, despite the intricacies involved.
